I received my medical qualification from Leicester University, UK in 1987. I then trained in ophthalmology in Birmingham and Midland Eye Hospital, UK. I was appointed Lecturer in ophthalmology at the University of Birmingham, UK in 1995. In 1998 I was one of the co founders of Pantheo Eye Centre in Limassol where I currently work as a consultant vitreo-retinal specialist. In addition I am an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology for St George’s University of London Medical School, at the University of Nicosia.
