I graduated from St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London Hospitals Medical School in 2002 with distinction and did my Ophthalmology Training at St Thomas’ Hospital and Bristol Eye Hospital. I was awarded the first national prize in Ophthalmology by the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. In 2005 I became a Member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists of London and in 2010 a Fellow of the same college. I undertook fellowship/advanced subspecialty training at Bristol Eye Hospital. In 2011, I founded VRMCy clinic, where I currently practice, with a specialist interest in the management of medical and surgical disease of the retina and macula. I am also a research fellow at the University of Bristol and I am currently looking into big data analysis. Apart from publishing original research, I am a peer reviewer for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Association for research in vision (ARVO)
